Subject: John Wes Townley Gets Black Flagged

Former NASCAR sensation John Wes Townley has passed away at the age of 31 after being shot.

Apparently he saw another man with his ex-wife, and started to attack her with a hatchet. :o The man then pulled out a pistol and came out blasting. No charges have been filed against the guy with the gun, as this was an issue of repelling a violent attacker.
Townley’s wife was also inadvertently shot in the incident, and is expected to recover.
This was not Townley’s first brush with violence, just his last. In 2019, John Wes Townley was charged with three misdemeanor counts, including family violence battery.
