Subject: No More Good Times for Johnny Brown

Written By: LyricBoy on 03/05/22 at 1:35 pm

Johnny Brown, legendary for his portrayals of the housing project superintendent on the 70s sitcom Good Times, has left the building at the age of 84 years young.  :\'(. He was at his doctor’s office to get his pacemaker checked out, but instead he himself checked out.  :-\\

Here’s a classic scene with Bookman doing a Christmas dance:    8)

I loved him in his two appearances on Kenan & Kel as Uncle Louie. In one of these episodes, Kenan's opening a birthday present early leads to a mix-up between a cheap snowglobe and a baseball signed by Babe Ruth.  ;D You should have seen how ecstatic Uncle Lewis was to receive that ball instead of the intended snowglobe.

In the other, Kenan has to hide the fact that his senior prank got him banned from his graduation ceremony.

RIP Johnny.
