Legendary character actor Bo Hopkins has passed away at the age of 80 due to complications of a heart attack.  :\'(

Bo had roles in LOTS of big movies. American Graffiti, Midnight Express, The Killer Elite, White Lightning, The Bridge at Remagen, More American Graffiti, and The Getaway (with Ali McGraw :-*) were but a few of his memorable appearances on the silver screen.  8)

He was big on TV too. His appearances included episodes of Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Virginian, Nichols, The Rat Patrol (replacing Justin Tarr as the jeep driver for three episodes), The Mod Squad, Hawaii Five-O, Paul Sand in Friends and Lovers, The Rookies, Charlie's Angels, Fantasy Island, The A-Team, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, The Fall Guy, Crazy Like a Fox, Murder, She Wrote and Doc Elliot. Dude was a monster in his day.
