Legendary video game executive Bernie Stolar has passed away at the age of 75. :\'(

Stolar was a monster in the video game industry. He ran The Atari division back in the day (championing the handheld Atari Lynx games), then moved on to Sony where he championed development of PlayStation. 8)
Sega then lured him away from Sony, and he headed the development and launch of the Dreamcast. One of Stolar's top moves was to acquire Visual Concepts for Sega of America and create 2K Sports. Then in December 1999, Stolar joined Mattel as president and helped spawn a multi-million unit selling Barbie video game series.dude was certainly in demand.
