Written By: LyricBoy on 07/09/22 at 5:56 pm

Veteran character actor L.Q. Jones (real name Justice Ellis McQueen), who played in all sorts of flicks over the years, has passed away all too soon, at the age of 94.  :\'(

L.Q. Was college roommates with Fess Parker, famous for portraying Daniel Boone and Davy Crockett on the small screen. L.Q. had major roles in big screen hits like Hang ‘em High, The Wild Bunch, Lone Wolf McQuade, as well as countless TV guest appearances, usually as an imposing Texan.

Here’s a clip from his performance as gambling commission member Pat Webb in the classic gangster flick, Casino, putting the smack down on Ace Rothstein.  8)
