In the 70s and 80s, Floyd and his chums in The Memphis Horns played backup for nearly everybody, including Al Green, Arethra Franklin, Rod Stewart, James Taylor, Joe Tex, Neil Diamond, Mike Harrison, Stephen Stills, Robert Cray, U2, The Doobie Brothers, Otis Redding, Isaac Hayes, Rufus Thomas, and Sam & Dave just to name a few.  8)

Classic albums where you can find his work include

What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits (1974) - The Doobie Brothers
Takin' It to the Streets (1976) - The Doobie Brothers
So (1986) - Peter Gabriel
Strong Persuader (1986) - Robert Cray
Rattle and Hum (1988) - U2

They also released their own stuff, too. Here’s Get it Up, a neat little piece of funk from ‘76.  8)
