A day early ?  :-[ Well, it was the 24th locally ... since we're ahead of so many other time zones ... so, that's my excuse. Currently 10.45 am, Wednesday, 24th October (local time).

Yes, that is true.  That was one of the reasons I used to like wearing high heels, the sound they make when they hit the floor.

Oh ... and once again ... my humble apologies for being 'early' in wishing you a 'Happy Birthday' Henk.  I, like most of the other posters in this thread, am thoroughly ashamed of myself in this regard.

If 'wishes' have any influence whatsoever on the outcome of a days unfolding ... well, I am of this dumb opinion that they're more likely to have some impact BEFORE the event occurs... rather than in retrospect ... so .... I imagine they are better 'too soon' ... rather than 'too late'. Better late than never .. but !

Anyhow, as I've said before, it WAS already your birthday in MY time zone ... so, I don't really see why I had to wait for everyone else .. to start this thread .. and wish you the best ...  but .... I'm sure ... not EVERYONE agrees .................
