Vera Farmiga is bloody brilliant as Norma Bates.
I like the undertones of the story and the way they capture the seediness of it all...
Its a little off putting how it feels vintage but is definitely set in the present...
I am torn by Freddie Highmore's performance. I truly cannot tell if he is over the top or also bloody brilliant. I do know that in the scenes with Vera she balances his performance....basically levels him out but in scenes where he's alone I almost want to laugh at Freddie. I wish he were more on the money but I'm willing to take the journey, where ever it leads, just so I can see what happens.

At first, I thought this show was a mini-series. I hope it does real well, or atleast better than the crappy Psycho sequels that came out in the 80s lol

'Psycho' is one of my most favorite horror films of all time! Yes I'm talking about the 1960 one. ;D
