You mean the revival of the series that's premiering tomorrow? I don't know but whenever I have time I'll check it out. I don't know about the X-Files series, in fact, I didn't grow up with the original one since it's a little before my time.

The first episode got like 13-14 million viewers, so there's a possibility there's going to be more episodes.

Yup around 4th/5th grade I watched a little bit. I was in the peak of my gangsta genre phase around 2006/2007ish. Watching Godfather 1 and 2, Goodfellas, Mean Streets, Once Upon a time in America, and of course some Soprano episodes.

I've used to watch a half of a Soprano episode when I was about 6, and then I probably got caught by my mom for watching it. Boy, did I love watching HBO when I was a kid.

I used to love X-Files when it was first on.

I watched either the first or the second of this new series. I got the impression they were showing them back-to-back here in the UK but I may have just misread the tv guide as the one I watched seemed to be the first in a story.

I liked it, the way the previous history was referred to.  However my daughter found it boring with a story that went nowhere.  So the jury's still out on whether we will keep watching

The debut episode of the X-Files reboot has given Channel 5 its biggest ever audience for a drama, the broadcaster has revealed.

Its consolidated audience - those who watched it live, plus those who watched it over the following week - was 5.1 million, which equates to 19% of all consolidated viewing in its time slot.

That makes it Channel 5's highest-rating drama since its launch in 1997.

The six-episode series sees David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson (pictured) return to their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully for the first time - on the small screen - since 2002.

The first episode of the new series was shown in the UK on 8 February.
