Subject: Holby City: TV drama to return with special Covid episodes

BBC medical drama Holby City has resumed filming for the first time in four months, with a special episode that sees the hospital gripped by the coronavirus pandemic. In a statement, the BBC said the drama will be back on screens later this year with slightly shorter 40-minute episodes. It added that, throughout the production, the Holby City team would practice social distancing and have other protocols in place to ensure workplace safety.

Holby City, the long-running BBC medical drama, is to end after 23 years, producers have confirmed.
The series, created by Tony McHale and Mal Young, first aired in 1999 as a spin-off from another show, Casualty.
The BBC announced on Wednesday that the drama will broadcast its final series in March 2022.
