Subject: Favourite Chocolate Bars

Written By: whistledog on 06/20/06 at 5:29 pm

Here is a few I really enjoy ...

Coffee Crisp - the Candy Bar that tastes like Coffee.  Currently only available in Canada, it is not widely available in the US, though I hear some states carry it in certain stores.  You can now get additional flavours like French Vanilla, Mocha, Orange, and an Ice Cream flavour

http://www.taquitos.net/dbimages13/CoffeeCrisp.jpg

------------

Kit Kat - Wafers coated in Chocolate.  You can now get them in White Chocolate and Vanilla, and the Kit Kat Chunky
http://www.wackypackages.org/realproductsscans/2004/jk/kitkat_small.jpg

------------

Aero - The Chocolate that bubbles in your mouth as it melts.  Available in Canada, Australia and In the Netherlands, they are called "Bros"

http://javworld.com/Images/blog/aero1.jpg

------------

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - Chocolate cups with peanut butter inside.  They come in packages of 2, 3, or 4.  The standard size is 2 (US) and 3 (Canada).  They now come in caramel and chunky peanut butter flavours

You can get Smarties pretty much everywhere but America it seems.  It's because in the States, Smarties are those little fruit candies that we call "Rockets"

Kit-Kats used to be good for me, but I ate so many of them about a year ago they drive me mad now.

Twix are good in moderation, too many makes me sick. I never want as many as I take, it seems, or I want a lot more. It's hard to be satisfied.

Milky Way is quite good, but a little too sweet sometimes.

3 Musketeers is good, but nougat isn't always something you can enjoy.

Butterfinger is probably my favorite, but I can't eat them often because they're murder on the teeth. If I turn one down, it's usually out of sheer laziness and not wanting  to floss. ;D

Hmm depends what I'm in the mood for !
I'll often buy either Cadbury's Caramel or a Cadbury's Star Bar or a Twirl, I love Aero bubbles (Quite a new thing) Minstrels and Malteesers are good too.

Don't like most Cadbury bars...to sugary, not enough cocoa.

I quite like the Ferrero bars - like the 'Bueno', the Guilan Bars, and of course old favourites like Snickers/Marathon, Crunch, Aero, Nestle Dream, White Chocolate with Cookie pieces, Twix, Kit-Kat.etc

Mr. Big is a giant vanilla wafer, coated in caramel, peanuts, crisp rice, then covered in a chocolate coating.  It's the length of two standard size chocolate bars.  You can get them in the UK, but they are apparently only sold in limited qualities in certain stores

My favorite Chocolate bar is the ZERO.

"The ZERO candy bar, introduced in 1920, is a candy bar composed of a combination of caramel, peanut and almond nougat covered with a layer of white fudge."(from wikipedia)

I also like Milky Ways, Twix and Hershey's with almonds.

I know this thread is about chocolate bars, but I just wanted to mention my favorite candy bars period are Paydays.

Hersheys and other American chocolate makers use a different formula than say Swiss chocolate or Belgian chocolate.  I've had all kinds and think it all rocks.

They're divine.  Kind of like a light truffle.  It's a chocolate cream covered in chocolate.  I highly reccommend them.
