My all-time favourite cereal is Sugar Crisp.  I used to like the Caramel-Apple Sugar Crisp, but I think it was for a limited time only, cause I dont see it in stores anymore  :\'(

Whoa, you mean it's still called "Super Sugar Crisp" in Canada? They changed it to Super Golden Crisp here back in the late 70s or 80s. I guess they didn't want the word sugar to describe their cereal anymore. Same with "Sugar Frosted Flakes".

Yeah, they try to downplay the fact that it's a sugary sweet cereal

The cereal was originally called Sugar Crisp in both the US and Canadian Market.  It's remained that name ever since in Canada, but for the US market, it became Super Sugar Crisp, then Super Golden Crisp, and then Golden Crisp

Wow.  I can't believe I haven't posted on this thread yet.  I'm the cereal Queen!  In fact, I'm sure I've eaten more cereal than I have Kraft Macaroni and Cheese!

Favs:  Life; Frosted Mini-Wheats; Corn Pops; Golden Crisp; Rice Krispies w/ fresh bananas.  I eat the healthy cereals more often now...but these are still my favorites.  Oh -- and on a very rare occasion, Captain Crunch.  It's awful how it sticks in your teeth but....it's just soooo good.

The first time you tried Grape Nuts, did you not think you were eating some sort of gravel? And then perhaps you thought they were stale. Then you realized they were meant to be stale gravelly things and they were actually pretty good!  :D

Colon Blow!!!

What the hell is that stuff called, the stuff that costs like $6 a box. It's sooo good, but sooo expensive.

Ok, this is gonna drive me nuts. They're like little brown kinda.. branny squares. Real solid and hard. GODDAM IT what are they called?

Anywho, I love having those with some Cap'n Crunch on top.

When I moved to America I remember standing in the cereal aisle at the grocery store and thinking that I'd died and gone to heaven, I couldn't believe how many different kinds of cereal I was presented with. Something called cookie blast (Or something to that effect) served me well for a while.. it was cookies.. in a box. GREAT!

Gosh, I love cereal.. I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner sometimes.
Of course, I don't have just one favorite... since there are so many different varieties...
so, in no particular order...

Golden Grahams
Nabisco Shredded Wheat
Frosted Mini Wheats
Life
Cinnamon Life
Apple Cinnamon Cheerios
Frosted Cheerios
Honey Nut Cheerios
Corn Chex
Rice Chex
Capn Crunch w/ Crunch Berries (though it shreds my mouth to pieces, so I don't eat it much)
Capn Crunch Peanut Butter Crunch
Honeycomb
Fruity Pebbles
Oatmeal
Malt O Meal
Cream Of Wheat

and I'm sure there are more, but can't think of them right now...

I saw this topic this morning and started thinking.. and got the answer straight away 'Cracklin Oat Bran' isn't it funny how the brain sometimes just won't do what you ask it.  ;D

They're great, but like I say, damn expensive for a small box of cereal and yeah Cookie Crisp kicks major ass!

I used to love these as a kid so I bought a box a while ago.  My two hated them because they were too sweet so I had to eat the whole box.

I don't really have a favourite cereal I like lots of different ones.  Top of the list is probably Shreddies.

When I was in Tesco this morning, I saw that Kellogg's had brought out a new cereal called Coco Pops Creations. The four types of Coco Pops cereal (Original Coco Pops, Crunchers, Coco Rocks and Mega Munchers) come in separate boxes and there are quite a few combinations to choose from. I might consider mixing Coco Pops with Coco Rocks or Coco Pops Crunchers with Mega Munchers or mix all four types together!
