Subject: Anybody recall a product used for making Carmel apples....

It was a flat circle of carmel on a sheet of plastic that you wrapped up the apple and peeled of the plastic. I made easy carmel apples and I am hoping it still exists... any body heard of this?

Yep. I've heard of them and used them when I was a kid...
Carmel Apple or Candy Apple Kits...

Look by the apples at your local grocer. I know they still make them.

I think Southern Image is right, the package also comes with the wooden sticks, and is in the produce section.
I wish I could remember the name of the product that used to be advertised on television.

Weren't they called "Wrapples" ? I think they might have been made by Kraft.. I could be wrong.. but somehow this name rings a bell .

I remember skipping the apple and eating the caramel sheets directly from the package :P
