Subject: American Eats

Has anyone ever watched "American Eats" on the History Channel?  I'm a fan.  If you haven't heard of it, it's a show that tells the story of various American foods.  It gives a background story, the origin of the dish and such, and will show how the food is manufactured and technical advances in production.  It's really interesting.  If you've never seen it, I reccommend it.

I've never seen it...but it sounds interesting.  Have you guys ever watched, "Unwrapped" on the Food Network? That's a neat little show too.

I haven't - I'll have to check it out.  I love to see how things are made or done - that kind of thing.

I always watch these when they're on.  I love watching the history on how food like Birdseye and nachos and pop came to be so prominent in our society.
