Mars Bar - Loved it! Was sad when it was gone. GOOD NEWS! Snickers Almond is the same!

Sugar Mama - Just like Sugar Daddy but with an added fudge/chocolate covering. Mmmm... Too bad it's gone.

The Marathon bar I used to eat as a child were quite different than a snickers.  It was a long caramel braid covered in chocolate; no nuts.  Damn, I miss those...

In the US the Marathon was like a UK Curly-Wurly bar.

I used to think Whatchamacallits were no longer made, but I saw some at 7-Eleven a couple of years ago and still see them from time to time.

I bought a Watchamacallit recently.  From the quality, I think they're no longer made; they're still trying to unload the stock left over from 1983!
:P

It's been a long time since I've seen Charleston Chews in strawberry or banana flavor.  Maybe I just haven't been looking.  I'm not about to subject my middle-aged teeth to that industrial adhesive masquerading as Charleston Chew nougat!  I've done enough damage to 'em already!

Summit bars are gone, and I haven't seen a Superchunk in quite a while either.

I have not seen these packs of tiny chiclets around for a long time and not sure if they make them anymore. I loved them  :)

How 'bout the wax bottles, with the colored syrup?

I saw something in the supermarket the other day I hadn't seen for years.  It was a type of chewing gum/bubble gum shaped like little gold nuggets.  It comes in a small drawstring bag.  There was only one shop back home that sold it when I was a kid and that shut down years ago.

I think it was around Valentine's Day a year or so ago when I saw a news spot about a (relatively) local candy store that specialized in "old time" candy.  I think I found the website for it just now.  It's called the Old Time Candy Company, and one of the trademarks is "Candy you ate as a kid."  Check it out and have fun reminiscing!  :)

Zotzs, hard candy that had a somewhat fizzy/sour liquid in the center.

Actually kinda gross if you think about it, but I loved them when I was a kid. During Halloween, the first type of candy I searched out of the goodies were the Zotzs.

Too bad their gone now.

Bonkers---Chewy candy with a juicy center--haven't had them since I was 15. They were so good.

Also haven't seen Lik'M'Aid (aka Fun Dip), which was a candy stick that you dipped in powder.

And there was this candy called Sparkies, which seemed very similar to Skittles.

2 out of 3 are still found, in Oroville.

It seems so.  They recently replaced the comic strips with puzzles to update the packaging.

There is a Bazooka bubble gum Facebook page!
