You can thank Howard for this one with his mention of Boo Berry...
Anyway, I remember really liking Coco Puffs and Cookie Crisp cereal when they came out but I tried them both a few years ago and they tasted nothing like I remembered... cookie crisp tasted nothing like cookies and the coco in the coco puffs was less like chocolate and a lot like cheap sugar.
And what's up with the Green Apple Jacks...wasn't the orangey Apple Jack good enough?

ya...same with Golden Grahams...they used to be SO good...now they pretty much suck.

Kraft Dinner tastes bland to me, I remember it had a stronger cheese flavor, now it tastes like milk!

I loved Golden Grahams when I was a kid....out of nostalgia I bought a box about a year ago and it tasted terrible! I was like, "What happened here?" :(

Sometimes recipes change, but sometimes taste buds change. Things you like as a kids may taste different because your body chemistry changes. Before I was pregnant I loved mushrooms, about 3 months in I couldn't stand the sight, smell, even mention of the them, and that continues. Chemistry change.

Ice Cubes don't taste as "cool" as they used to. Something new with their chocolate recipe.

Campbell's Chicken Vegetable soup is not the same as when I was a kid. The recipe is totally different (different noodles, broth, vegetables.) >:(

Those cups of yoqurt at the store used to be 8oz, now they are 6oz. >:(

My mom always tells me that A&W Burgers don't taste the same as they did back in the golden days of the 50s / 60s. I wasn't alive then (lol) so I will take her word for it. I don't really notice a change in taste from when I ate A&W as a kid.

The only food items that taste the same as they used to are A1 steak sauce, Miracle Whip, and Jolly Ranchers.
