Hi Everyone!

My favorite root berr to drink is Barq's root beer. I notice that in the supermarket, there's a wide variety of colas, non-colas a fruity sodas. But the only root beers I've ever seen is Barq's and A&W. I prefer Barq's over A&W because it has caffeine in it and I do need my boost in the mornings. Plus I like the sharper taste of it.

Which do you prefer. (Or if you prefer a different brand, please tell us all about it!  :) )

You've never had a rootbeer?  :o I've only had this odd, clouded over feeling once before, when I met a man who said he'd never heard of Michael Jackson. PLEASE try a root beer--either brand--it's YUM-TASTIC!!!!  ;)

A & W Rootbeer is better in my opinion. Have you tried Hires Rootbeer? It's pretty good too.

Hey, me too!! In fact, I just had one about a week or so ago...but the brand we used was "Dad's Root Beer." Still, I enjoy A&W best. O0

Me too :) Tim & I drove over an hour and 15 minutes to visit our daughter then another 30 minutes so she and her boyfriend could go to Oswego,NY to shop and eat,where did we go to Wendy's I was so mad because they had a KFC/ A&W combo 2 doors down and I wanted to try the A&W. >:(

I find this interesting as in the US A&W are more widely known for their root beer than their restaurants.  I prefer A&W root beer to Barq's or even MUG.  But above those I like I.B.C. root beer.

You should try it Jason.  It won't get you drunk :D

I've had this!  It's GREAT!!!!  I also choose A&W over barq's because I grew up having an A&W Drive in in my town and it was the fun place to go on Friday nights to have a beer  root beer.

between A&W or Barq's, I'd go A&W. they used to keep their glass mugs in a freezer and pour the root beer in. that was awesome, they still do that but the mugs are now plastic  :( 

the beer maker Henry Weinhard makes a pretty good bottle of root beer
