I would love to see these come back:
Jello spoon candy, Post Fortified oat flakes, Nabisco mystic mint cookies, Hershey's cookies 'n mint and Bar None candy bars,
Swanson frozen entrees.

I remember a peanut spread made by Kraft called Koogle. It had several flavors like chocolate and cinnimon. The mascot, a giant jar, had his own Koogle-y language that he demonstrated on some children's cartoon shows. I loved the stuff at first, then it got too sweet.

Also:
C.W. Post cereal
Kellogg's Frosted Rice
Tootsie Roll Mintees
Powerhouse candy bar
No Jelly candy bar
Campbell's Cream Of Onion Soup

If you have a store near you that has a european international foods section look out for a Curly Wurly made by Cadbury's.  Never tasted a US Marathon but it is the same style of braided caramel covered in chocolate

Aren't they the cutest?  As a baby shower cake topper or some such.  But not sure I'd actually want to eat one!

Are liquorice babies like these?

These may mean nothing to you:

Nibb-It had a type of chips/crisps by the name of Djokja's (at least in The Netherlands). Loved those! :) Never understood why they were discontinued.

Lay's (or Smiths, as they were called over here) Cream & Chives. Absolutely delicious! 8) But then they were replaced by Cream & Onion...okay, but not quite the same.

Dutch dairy producer Domo had this type of extra long lasting custard that we (i.e. my brother, my sister and I) all liked. One day however they decided to 'improve' the recipe, and in the process also ruin the taste. Great job, Domo! ::)

And last but not least: not too long ago there was a noodle like product in our shops called Trek. I forgot the manufacturer. All you needed to do was add boiling water, stir it, leave it for about five minutes and stir it again. Another great invention for people like me... but it was discontinued. :(

Doncha love when they do that. Can you say NEW COKE?  ::) Not liking Coke any which way, but that was definitely a disaster. They forgot the one important rule: If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT!!!

Those (or similar products) are also available in The Netherlands, but it's not exactly what I meant.

For one, it was pasta more than noodles, and it also came in a smallish tin foil package.

Hydrox vs. Oreo.

I currently play for team Joe-Joe's, but if I'd caught Hydrox in 2008, I'd have gone for that.  I want my milk-dunking cookie to absorb the milk quickly.  Yeah, I'm one of those people, who broke the seal on his bag of Oreos and resisted temptation for a few days so they'd be at the sweet spot of not-quite-staleness to faciliate milk absorption.  I'm not aiming for overtly stale, but if it still goes "crunch" after 60 seconds of idle twirling in milk while watching cartoons on Saturday morning, it's tasty, but I couldn't get through a whole row of 'em in the space of 22 minutes.  Yeah, 22 minutes, not 30.  Even as a child (when there were more than 22 minutes of content in a 30-minute time slot, but that's another thread), I knew better than to waste precious cookie during the commercials.  Even as an adult, you just don't do that.

That's why I don't buy Oreos.  I don't have the self-discipline to dispense myself four cookies and put the pack back in the cupboard.  I'm going to wind up with those babies right next to me for the Jon Stewart show, and then I'll be like, ohhhhh...why did I eat all those!
