I'm a tangerine man myself, especially Spanish Clementines in the early fall!

Tangerine, tangerine
Living reflection from a dream;
I was her love she was my queen
And now a thousand years between.

Oh my darling, Oh my darling,
Oh my darling Clementine,
You are lost and gone forever,
Dreadful sorry Clementine.

I know this sounds stupid, but I really don't know the difference---always thought a tangerine was a type of orange.  :-[
Anyway, I'll have either one since I love oranges.

I know this sounds stupid, but I really don't know the difference---always thought a tangerine was a type of orange.  :-Citrus tangerina) is an orange-colored citrus fruit that is closely related to the mandarin orange (Citrus reticulata). Taxonomically, it may be named as a subspecies or variety of Citrus reticulata; further work seems to be required to ascertain its correct scientific name. Tangerines are smaller than common oranges, and are usually easier to peel and to split into segments. The taste is considered less sour, as well as sweeter and stronger, than that of an orange."

What is the difference?  :( I always thought tangerines were just petite oranges. I hated peeling both.

Oranges often have a dry texture, but I will not pass one up if offered to me. I prefer tangerines, clementines or tangelos.

I like clementine tangerines because they're sweet, but because they're expensive and always in bags, I buy blood oranges during the season they have them.

Oranges.  By themselves, in something or as orange juice.
