I picked other because....

A) mostly I don't like sandwiches... when I eat a sandwich 90something percent of the time it's Tuna.....  if I eat a meat sandwich it's usually ham (with mayo or butter...nothing else on the sandwich but ham and mayo or butter) .... 


B) when I eat a tuna sandwich or a ham sandwich I don't generally cut them... in fact...the only time I have a sandwich that is cut is if it's been cut for me....


C) if the sandwich has already been cut for me I prefer it be cut diagonally



D) I do eat tri tip sandwiches.....they are normally on a french roll or baguette .....these are not generally cut in the various manners mentioned above so it doesn't count!!!

idiosyncrasies is that I smash my sandwich flat. I get laughed at for it too, people say "Live, damn you ,live."
like I am giving the sandwich CPR but hey, I like the sandwich flat , what can I say?

Now if it is a hoagie or a cheese steak I will cut in half but that is it.

Oh, on a final note; flatbreads and wraps are out. I prefer not to eat them at all.

I picked in fours.  I usually don't cut them, but if I am feeling particularly nostalgic and missing my grandma, I have to cut them.  That's how she used to do it for me.  And then it has to be egg salad.

I miss wonder!  It still cannot be found in these parts!  Although we do have dingdongs back!

Oh and I cut diagonal!  Especially since I prefer "sandwhich" bread vrs.  The round type.  If I have the round typ variety to keep uniform I cut in half down the center.

I like my sandwiches cut on the diagonal.  It's been the way that I've been eating my sandwiches for as far back as I can remember.  :)

I actually do the four way diagonal, little triangles are so much more tasty.

Eating potato chips/crisps in sandwiches, with ham, chicken or cheese, has been popular for a long while in the UK. I can distinctly remember eating my sandwiches that way on school trips in the 1970s.

Plain potato chips are also great on peanut butter.

Any way other than diagonally. That's how I prefer to personally make the cut.

However, if some place wants to cut 'em diagonally or whatever way, that's fine... but I prefer to cut it my own way.

I too do not care how my sandwich is cut, just as long as it is edible.  I do like dipping my sandwiches in Chef Boyardee.  I know it sounds gross, but so delicious!

I don't usually cut my sandwiches.  Although the other day, I went to TGIFriday's, and ordered a hamburger.  It was HUGE.  So I kinda just started cutting little pieces off of it like little bars of burger, just to make it easier to eat.  That burger was a lot of work, but it was yummy so it was worth it.

sometimes at parties they're usually cut into tiny squares for bite size.

If I made my own sandwiches with wholemeal bread, I'd cut it vertically because I get the nicest bit of darkened crust on both halves.

If I buy ready-made sandwiches from shops, that's when I normally eat them if they are cut diagonally.

I like to cut them horizontally cause it makes it easier to eat.

I put 'who cares'. Life is too short to cut sandwiches.  ;D

I don't cut my sandwiches. Deli little sandwich squares are awesome though and are great for parties!
