Yep, I'm afraid the days of boy bands and Britneys are here to stay. ĘThey've been around since NKOTB, and I don't see any end. :'(

Anyway, back on topic...

The music that will stay is the rock-pop music division that includes NKOTB, Boyzone, Westlife, A-1, Britney, Mandy, Jessica...

Trad rock that includes Paul Weller, Travis, Oasis...

And, finally, a very sprinkling of Alt Country-Rock - Lucinda Williams, Uncle Tupelo, and The Jayhawks.

I still pride myself on diversity and tolerance on other people's music stuff, and I'm looking forward to these new genres continuing and, hopefully, expanding.

Hey Bobo, what about my jamminoldies(funk and disco)from the 70's and 80's? Will that type of music still be around 2 years from now?I don't want to have to listen to Travis,Oasis and Paul Weller.I don't know what they sound like. :D

If the music is good, I'll listen to it. I hope it has the inspirations of the 60's, 70's & 80's. Early 90's too, I guess. Just having it be completely Original will be a huge plus in my book.  ;)
