No kidding?  You saw it coming when David Duchovney left, but I really hoped it might continue on.  Too bad, it's a great series...

It read they will continue until May..and they are asking "Fox" to come back at the end.  And then one last big screen movie, this fall I think.

I have to say, I'm not surprised. The show declined in popularity so much during 1999...

I was an AVID watcher in the beginning. The last two years really sucked!  Ever since the movie came out it went downhill!  The writing was very poor. (IMHO)

You, too?!?  The movie ruined the show for me.  I don't know why.  I just didn't see how they expected us to buy Scully as a non-believer after that.  And now all of a sudden, she has to convince some guy that there are aliens out there?   ::)  Great plot....after all the time she's had her head buried up her arse.   ::)

Well, all good things must come to an end, and "The X-Files" was one of the BEST things to ever happen to television. But let's face it: it's not really "The X-Files" without Mulder.

Actually, it came about a year or 2 too late. And not only because of David Duchovny. Scully's baby story was far-fetched (even by their standards) and Robert Patrick and Annabeth Gish or just boring. I hope Gillian Anderson makes better career decisions.

X-files sucked, especially towards the end.

I liked it at the start. Especially that man that went through air vents and stuff - 'Toombs' I think his name was.

It got so idiotic that I just went off it.

I,too, liked it at the beginning but lost interest as the show progressed. Especially when David Duchovny left.
