That movie and its star were not all fun and games, but an unfortunate event. She was forced to participate at gun point by her boyfriend at the time.

Oh, my God! I'm sorry, I did not know that! If I had known that, I wouldn't have even posted what I said. That's just sick! That poor woman. :(

Actually it was her first husband ("Traynor", I believe was his last name) who beat her up at gunpoint. He is probably burning in the pit of Hades right now.  :-X

I also heard that the guy that starred in the movie with her lives in UTAH...and sells houses!  One of the DJ's said..."Wow, I wonder if he'll let you in his back door!"  :-X

Oh, no apologies. I didn't mean to make you feel bad. You didn't know. I too felt very sorry for her. She crusaded against that industry after her ordeal. An unsung hero. R.I.P. L.L.

I remember reading Linda Lovelace's autobiography, Out of Bondage, when I was in college. She claimed that her ex-husband forced her into pornography, fed her a steady diet of cocaine and pills, physically and mentally abused her and sold her into white slavery. It was a very harrowing account, but many people doubted its truthfullness. I recall that she also testified in Congress on a moratorium against pornography in the early-80s. I've never seen any of her "work", so I can't comment on that...

Well, Traci Lords successfully campaigned to have removed from sale all her stuff from when she was under-age, so I can't see why Linda couldn't have done something similar if her work was truly being produced under duress (not to mention laying criminal charges against the perps)...

Hey, Mr Gazpacho - don't you think the sig is a trifle on the sick side for this thread...?
