Subject: Creed tour canceled

Written By: lebeiw15 on 04/29/02 at 07:57 p.m.

:(  If you haven't heard about this yet:

(From a local radio station's website)

Creed have been forced to cancel the second North American leg of the band's Weatherd Tour. Specifically, all previously announced peformances beginning 4/29 in Fargo, North Dakota through May 31 in Slema, Texas have been cancelled. No make-up dates have been announced at this time, however the band loks forward to resuming their touring schedule mid-Summer.

Creed frontman Scott Stapp was in an automobile accident, where his car was struck by another vehicle. Due to the nature of the accident, his body absorbed a sixty mile an hour impact. He has been advised by medical professionals to make this regrettable, but necessary decision as he recuperates.

Dang!  I was going to win the last pair of tickets on the radio tomorrow morning.   :(

I'm sorry he got in an accident, but I'm not sorry they canceled their tour.

I seen Creed when they came to my city a few years ago, that was when no one really knew who they were.  'bout right after Human Clay was released.  It was a good show.

Now, now guys. The important thing is that Scott is all right and recuperating. 8) Sure, Creed isn't coming to Indianapolis in May, but I couldn't afford them anyway, not even the lawn seats at our Verizon Wireless Music Center. Get well soon, Scott. And hope you are on schedule for recovering. :(
