Subject: 2 Videos - 1 Song

Saw these last night - I can't see the reason for Nelly doing two videos for "Hot In Here".

I could understand if they were made for different timeslots (i.e. PG vs. M rated), but the only difference I can see is that one is clean and shiny, and the other is greasy and grimy.

Oh wait, maybe that *was* the point...

Is he trying to attract two very dissimilar audiences?

I can think of a reason - over indulgence! This is why your CD prices are so high people! Nelly is enjoying popularity at the expense of a whole bunch of more talented acts on 'developement rosters' who will never get to record, while the label spends a fortune making not one but TWO videos for this flash-in-the-pan no-talent.

Hmmm...I've only seen the one they show during the day.

I know that "Island In The Sun" by Weezer had two videos, along with "Movies" by AAF.

In the 80s Bon Jovi made 2 video's for Bad Medicine...the reason was they gave the audience members cameras and made the video's from their footage...there was so much that they had to make 2 video's....
