This Harold Shipman business is, indeed scary. Especially being told about his attacks on the main victims... pardon me for saying so, but this man is just sick. No other way for me to put it.

I read this in the paper this morning and was shocked and sickened by the thought of how many lives this maniac has taken.  Why is it that too often these kinds of individuals go unnoticed until they've committed horrific crimes?!  :'(

Perhaps the judge could also ask why he wasn't struck off the medical register after his previous infringement. He should have been jailed for that.

To relieve people of their suffering. Permanently.

That is absolutely horrible! I can't believe anyone who swore to help heal people could do that to them. They entrusted him with their lives and he took their lives instead. The death penalty would be too good for him!!

That is horrible and sick.  I can't believe he did that!

They say "Above all, do no harm". I say "an eye for an eye". If Dr. Shipman wants to end others' suffering permanently, he should end his own life. Too bad England does use the death penalty anymore. The "lethal inject" would be apt for this quack. >:(

I think that lethal injection is too humane for scumbags like this!  Why shouldn't he be made to suffer like the poor people he killed?!  >:(
