They had a meeting in New York about the new WTC plans, and none of them were deemed acceptable by New Yorkers, despite a survey saying New Yorkers don't wan the world trade center built back to It's former glory.  I don't blame them, some of these plans are ridiculous. I hope they Built two new towers just as tall as the Twin Towers, Maybe not in the exact same spot. thoughts?

I think they should build a memorial of some kind.  Then maybe a couple of the buildings.  I don't like the idea of another set of twin towers, though.  I can't say exactly why, I am not sure myself.  Maybe it is because I am afraid of heights ;)

I have to agree with the New Yorkers on this one. What if another building is placed on the WTC area, and the anti-American cretins blow it up too? That means more Americans (and New York police and fire people) killed and injured. A Memorial for the casualties would be nice, but I would suggest a wall similar to the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington. Or something to the liking of the Oklahoma City bombing memorial? ???

If they want to blow something else up, there are plenty of targets without waiting for a new WTC to be built.

I say build similar buildings. They'll indubitably be more modern. Perhaps within the height of the Empire State Building, more or less. Have those buildings built with better, stronger infrastructure.

Definitely a memorial.

They should stay away from the radical.

New Yorkers are very sensitive and protective of their memory of the Original structures. It's like sacred ground now.
