Subject: Has anyone ever read the Stephanie Plum novels...

Written By: Criz on 08/13/02 at 10:19 a.m.

...by Janet Evanovich?

I am completly hooked on them - they are very well written books. The comedy is fantastic and adds a little extra to the crime basics. I hope someone has read them and understand how hooked I am! I've read 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 allready this Summer and will be getting number 8 in a couple of weeks. Just gotta get hold of number 2 :)

I may be writing this for no reason, as no-one may have even heard of the books!

My dad reads them, for whatever reason. He apparently heard Janet's name being thrown around places, and decided to check out One For The Money. He liked it, and realised there were more to the series - then, Two For The Dough, Three To Get Deadly, Four To Score, and High Five. He has since read all of these, plus Hot Six, Seven Up and Hard Eight, and he's sent in for the new competition to name #9.

I thought I would be the only person know who Evanovich was...

She is a such a great author - you should read them! I never get a chance to read for leisure during college time, so now it's Summer, I finally have the time.

I got the books recommended to me by my Godmother, who's a teacher - now we're both hooked. I'm just waiting for her to finish reading 'Hard Eight' so I can borrow it!

I went on the website today but unfortunatly couldn't think of any half decent names for the 9th :)

I love the Stephanie Plum novels.  8 is a great book.  Grandma Mazur has got to be my favorite character, although I would love a couple of hours alone with Ranger. ;)

I'm sure a lot of people will come up with the same ones. She's probably going to look for something distinctive, like the second instalment, but something that people will be able to remember.

Nine... something-or-other.

We, too, agreed on Seven Up and Hard Eight (along with six dozen other suggestions) but neither time got the prize...
