What would you consider some of your favorite movies from...oh let's say the 70's through to now? My modern classics would include:
Animal House-1978
Porky's-1981
Arthur-1981
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest-1975
Caddyshack-1980
The Shining-1980
Real Genius-1985
They Call Me Trinity-1973
Any Which Way You Can-1980
Dumb & Dumber-1994
Major League-1989.....for starters ;)

   Actually, many of the movies mentioned above are already considered classics, aka. "new classics".  Strictly speaking, isn't a movie considered a classic if it is at least 20 yers old?

I agree with you Davester - thats why I said after 1990 for my limit on modern day classic songs.

Okay how about 1965-1989....that way they have to be before 1990...therefore,  from my list I will pull off "Dumb & Dumber" and the rest will remain intact ;)
