I hate to say it, but i have never heard any of thier music, I guess he died before his band reached thier prime.   :(

RIP Dave Williams. That makes me feel sad, I know there were a lot of DP fans out there who will be gutted by the news.

in my opinion, their music sucks and is far from pleasant to listen to...
but he has earned my respect for making a difference in the lives of many people

I never really liked their stuff, but one of my mates loves it, so I will say this, we all live and (eventually) die, when it is someone in the public eye it just makes more of an impression.
I have respect for the impression he has made towards other people though.
My friend says that out of respect any messages dissing him should be removed... it isn't exactly dignified is it people...

   Yes, he has left his mark on the world, and he will be missed by his friends, family and fans.  Yes, we all will eventually die.  Thanks for the lecture.
  The only song by Drowning Pool I've heard, "Let The Bodies Hit The Floor", was a guilty pleasure and somewhere on the net there's a kewl video of the U.S. military in action set to that song.  If I find the link again, I'll post it here for your viewing pleasure.
