The popularity of "Wassup" has inflated in recent years. Same deal with "innit" ("isn't it"), and "totally", normally preceded by the world "like".

because rappers these days are f*cking pathetic and use dumbass phrases and words that never should have left compton... i used to have respect for rap because of the rappers in the early 1990's... i never liked em but i had respect for them.... the new age rappers only talk about money, and their own rhymes... rap used to have a bit of meaning in it.... but now the majority of rap interludes (can't call them songs) are clearly made up for nothing but the cash and publicity...
example number 1: the song "Hot in here" by Nelly.
can anyone tell me what this rap interlude is about?
it is clearly a party song to make cash off of...
people know that if you make a party song, one with no meaning, it will be played so much it will be raking in the cash..
take "who let the dogs out" by baha men for another example..
they know damn well that this song is meaningless... but it is a party song... so it will be played and played and they will get millions of dollars from it...

here's a summary for your rap loving mind, TV:
Why i am ashamed of the americans in my generation:
because they idolize and mimic such f*cking pathetic beings.

Closing Song:
Saves The Day - This Is Not An Exit

I understand most of today's rap is meaningless. I really don't take most rap music today very seriously because it has very little meaning. I don't worry about where other people are getting "phrases or sayings" from. Life is too short to worry about that kind of stuff.

How about "alliance"? Ever since the first "Survivor" all the reality shows use this.
