You really need to check this out. When you play Britney Spears' "Lonely" (the verse before the spoken verse) to Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall," you'll notice both have almost the same melody. I have tried it countless times and it works every time. You should try it too.

As much as I hate Britney, and like Pink Floyd, I am sure she isn't. The record company probaly sold the rights for her to sample the song. Jesica Simpson did it with a John Mellencamp song a couple years ago, so it happens more than you think.

It's called sampling for the Jessica Simpson track. As for the Britney track, that's probably more coincidence. "Another Brick in the Wall" has a particularly simple melody line.

The melody is kinda simple, though, but I still think there's a conspiracy:
I Nile Rodgers played guitar on Britney's "Anticipating" song. The "disco" beat/rhythm from "BW" is also a Nile-Rodgers-influenced rhythm.

I give Britney Spears 6 more months, then she'll be another has-been on "Behind the Music".
Her failed acting career and her failed attempt in the restaurant biz(her NY restaurant closed shortly after its grand opening) show thats she's just another 1-trick pony. Its only a matter of time.
By next Winter, she'll be appearing on FOX's Celebrity Boxing.

Excuse me?? This really isn't the place to bash anyody. If you wanna bash, do it in a song parody that requires bashing. Anyway, nobody I know of has ever acknowledged "Brick in the Wall"'s being used in Britney's song, which I think is unfair to Roger. He should recieve royalities for his original melody.
