Subject: Virus alert!  And this time, it's legal!

Got this from another message board.  I checked out the link and this is not a joke.

Internet Hackers are getting more savvy in how they use the law to gain access to the applications on remote systems. Now, they are using license agreements to trick unsuspecting users into granting permission to install virus infected applications on the victim's machines.

The link below has the complete story.

For right now, I'd say that if a pop-up window offers you a license agreement just to view an e-card or some other irrelevent Internet object, click "No" or "I do not accept" and delete the email it came from, even if you know and trust the person who sent the email. The license agreement makes the virus hack perfectly legal (albeit very unethical) and most people will not realize this.

I believe I read about this a couple of weeks ago and the bit thing is the messages that are sent are often porn links, so people that have never visited a smut site will get offers to visit.  This is very sleazy, the operator of the company knows it but says it's okay becasue it's authorized and that a waiver is there but just not read.
