Recent artists who are probably played too much on the radio/TV - Shakira, Gareth/Will/Kelly, and various boybands, along with Vanessa Carlton, and still, unfortunately, Metallica, Limp Dips***, Eminem, and... so on.

One that I heard to much of for awhile was Smashing Pumkins, Billy Corgin was cranking the stuff out. Good music, just to much for about 4 years.  I was reminded of this tonight cause I heard a bit of his new music, I think the band is called Swan, or something like that.  Sounds just like Smashing Pumkins, since Billy was basically the band.

It better not be called Swan, or it will be forever mixed up with Swans, and we couldn't have that!

True, but then, he was my ex-girlfriend's fave... I never understood it, personally. Aside from the album, which was well-produced, everything about him is so hateable.

The album was full of bad material, as often is the case.
