Written By: Willie on 12/27/02 at 06:48 p.m.

To all the TLC fans, what songs should be on their greatest hits album? Left Eye is gone :'( , and I think 3D will be TLC's last album.

So those of you who like TLC's videos and songs; name the top 8 songs from TLC that you think will be on the greatest hits album.

Mine:
Baby Baby Baby -From Ooooh on the TLC Tip
Red Light Special -From CrazySexyCool
This is How it Works -From Waiting To Exhale soundtrack
Get it up -From Poetic Justice Soundtrack
Waterfalls -From CrazySexyCool
No Scrubs -From Fanmail
Give it too me while its Hot -From 3D; if these becomes a single

I also forgot that there will be some unreleased songs on there too.

Oh come on now, there are some good songs on their new album. So far Girl Talk was released, and it was alright. I heard that Hands up, Turn Table, and Damaged will be the next singles.

I'm not gonna buy it, but it will be a travesty if "Diggin' on You" isn't on it.

The only TLC song I know is the theme song to the Nickelodeon TV show "All That." :P, But I DO NOT want the overplayed songs on the CD (Waterfalls, No Scrubs). How about B-sides, rarities, oddities.

Well PF4Eva, I know a couple of their songs was overplayed, but you know on a greatest hits album, the best songs of an artist goes on it. I have all 4 of their albums, I just want it because its going to have a lot of unreleased songs on it.

Well, if it's their greatest hits album, then I think their greatest hits should be on it.

because HE is an asshole.

haha it doesn't matter how many albums they sell, they are still not a real band.
they sing.
that is all. they don't play any instruments or anything.
they sing well, i will give them that. but lots of people can sing well.
it doesn't take a lot of practice or a lifetime of devotion to be able to sing.

therefore i must return to my original comment. they are not a real band.

No one ever stated that they were a band. They are a group. And you can't deny that they have talent. Boyz II Men, Jodeci, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson, I could keep going but I'll stop. None of these people play instruments nevertheless you can't deny that they are talented. Just because someone doesn't pick up and instrument and play doesn't mean that they lack talent.
Why would you even post if you don't have something constructive to say. I think what people such as yourself are referred to are "board trolls". You have nothing to really say so you just slam everyone else's opinions and make others feel bad because of it.
If you didn't like TLC in the first place why even click on the thread? Just skip over it and not even bother with it. It's people like you that ruin these board communities on the internet and make them an unpleasant place to visit.

i didn't deny that they are talented.
i acknowledged it.
but what they do is not hard. you are basically born with it.

and in this case i think the cause of the greatest hits album would be to make money. and the death of one of the members helps the sales.

A couple of questions from someone who's never even heard of TLC:
1. Do they write their own material, perform mainly cover versions or use someone like the talentless git Pete Waterman to write the same sort of pap over and over again?

2. How may songs have they released, of which how many could be considered hits?
