I also love 'Can't Stop' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers - I think they're last 3 singes have been fantastic yet I have never got into their stuff from the 90s.

2. Thugz Mansion -2pac

3. Be All Right -Trina (this song is so dirty! ;D)

"Crowns"- Money Mark
"Roll The Dice"- Dusty Trails

Also, a song by Ween called "Where'd The Cheese Go?".  Evidently, they recorded it for a new Pizza Hut commerical, but Pizza Hut didn't like it.  It's hilarious. ;D

Take That should have been more popular here in the States. They had it all and more. One of the dudes in that group was Robbie Williams! Geez! The cool thing about them is that one of the guys in the group (Gary Barlow) composed the songs and wrote the lyrics. I thought that was fairly impressive; they not only had the right look, but the ability to crank out Pop like other famous songwriters and musicians.

To me, t.A.T.u. is a far far more interesting act than Avril's and their crappy cover sounds a little better than Snake River Conspiracy's (I think Morrissey hated that cover, but I'm not sure). They're both in the same category, but t.A.T.u. is just so unashamedly perverse and evil; all packaged in a neat wholesome way, and marketed for everyone. I can't help getting this cheshire cat smile. Like I said before, this is something Malcolm Maclaren would have come up with if he cared enough for Puke Pop. I think whoever came up with this concept is going places in the music industry. Fashionwise, I just want to punch Avril in the face for not wearing a shirt with a collar so that she can wear a tie properly. I'm sorry, but it just looks like the most blatantly stupid faux pas in music vids right now :P

My favorite song of the moment, believe it or not, is "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" by BJ Thomas.

But I think "Girlfriend" by Matthew Sweet is moving to bump it out.

I really dislike Robbie Williams - he's so cocky! They only song I like of his is 'No Regrets' (beacuse of the Paul Wellar and Neil Tennant accompanyment ;D probably!). Gary Balrow was talented, but at the time, the band did nothing for me. I was and East 17 and Boyzone girl :p. Oh, those were the days.

Avril Lavinge does annoy me. If anybody saw her Brits performance they'd probably dislike her too. She just didn't sing well live and looked  honestly bored. She seriously acted like she didn't want to be there. Yet, I still like 'I'm with you' very much. Goos pop song IMO :]

I like this R&B song alot "Love Rollcoaster" by Vivian Green. I have heard one of her other songs too. This woman is a good singer that people should look out for. I also like Deborah Cox's "Lonely" too. I remember in 1998 when I when she did "Nobody Is Supposed to Be Here". That was the song in late 98/early 99.

"Reap The Wild Wind" is awesome! I love their casual use of the Theremin to make that vague Oboe sound. The vid had them dressed like early 20th century pilots, right? Biplanes, pilot drag, goggles, et cetera. I swear that could be used as a recruitment tool for WWI. "Dedicated to the heroes of the past and the present" or something like that 8) Gotta love Ultravox!

"Volvo Driving Soccer Mom" by Everclear

This is weird because most of the songs that people have written as their most favorite song right now are songs I've never even heard of.
Then again the songs I write will probably be songs not many other people have heard of.
I'd have to say that all of the songs off of the album Wonder What's Next by Chevelle are my favorites right now.
Plus Effigy by American Head Charge.

I hadn't really listened to the New Order album "Get Ready" until yesterday.  There's a song on there called "Slow Jam" that is absolutely brilliant.  I highly recommend it.
