Subject: What do ya think of Robin Cook?

Written By: Delia on 03/28/03 at 09:51 a.m.

Hiya every1:)

I found out the website I'm enclosing on Robin Cook's speech b4 he resigned in the House of Lords . Some of the things he said may be discutable to u or maybe u couldn't agree less ;) Anyway, I think it's interesting. My question (as u may have guessed reading the subject :)...) is WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ROBIN COOK?

That novel Coma was pretty good, they didn't do well with the movie though.

Race has a way of doing that. I am continually cracking up from his posts. He knows how to host a croquet party!

Thanks Princess and Shaz,  :)
Some people get it, some don't and that's where I find the true sense of character.

Cook makes some interesting and valid points here, particularly in regard to the UN resolutions on Israel and the Occupied Territories.

I doubt many USers know who Robin Cook (from UK politics) is since we don't get much coverage on other countries' politics (even if they're our strongest allies) :) :D ;D End Quote

Interesting TB !  In Aus, we get to hear about everyone's politics, so I was fully aware of who Robin Cook was/is.

Apart from all other considerations, a singularly unattractive man.... :-X :-/ :(

Sphinx was even better, to me, and the movie was okay. I've been searching for that movie like there's no tommorow!  Can't find any copies of it, though. It's almost like the movie was never made  :(
