"What'd you say? Whoa! You're talking to me all wrong. It's the wrong tone! If you do it again, I'll stab you in the face with a soldering iron. Is that right? Let me ask you something...Huh?!

"If you're an actor, it's good to be famous. I don't think everybody has to be famous, but if you're an actor and you're my age and you're not famous, it's not good. I mean, other people don't need to have that, but if they don't recognize you, what are you doing?"

Yes, the recording was quite nice and the celebration is splendid...but I just feel that we need more cowbell.

Hell yeah! Cowbell! You can never have too much cowbell. "The Perfect Kiss" wouldn't be so perfect if it weren't for the cowbell.

The way your dad looked at it, this cowbell was your birthright. He'd be darned if any of the slopes were gonna get their greasy yellow hands on his boy's birthright. So he hid it in the one place he knew he could hide something: his bum. Five long years, he wore this cowbell up his bum. Then when he died of dysentery, he gave me the cowbell. I hid this uncomfortable piece of metal up my bum for two years. Then, after seven years, I was sent home to my family. And now, little man, I give the cowbell to you.

For someone who plays such scarey roles, he is so darned funny. On some talk show (maybe Dave Letterman?) he said that he would love to do a cooking show. Said this completely deadpan, which made it funny. He said he is a really good cook and he could tell jokes in between cooking, it would be his ideal job.

I believe if you read his IMDb profile, you'll see that he defines himself more as an entertainer than an actor...and that's why he does his silly dancing and is in such wacked out movies as Joe Dirt and Blast From The Past :)

Naw, man. Ever since The Deer Hunter, I was enthralled by this guy's acting ability. He's famous alright, but for all the right reasons. Personally, I find him attractive in a menacing kind of way. I recall watching King Of New York and he looked very dashing in a suit... very evil too 8)

Had to change your whiteout so I can see :P

Anyway...I agree that he is a very good actor, it's just that he prefers to call himself an entertainer :)  He was funny as hell in "Blast From The Past"...and I always look forward to his "Continental" skit on SNL :D
