Subject: Austin Powers Set To Return for Fourth Movie
Mike Myers is reportedly set to make one final outing as spoof spy Austin Powers - despite promising the kitsch character would never grace the silver screen again. The Wayne's World comic is working on a script and there are plans to go into pre-production in the spring, with the shoot taking place at Shepperton and Pinewood studios in England before the end of the year. Myers will once again take on writing and directing duties and will star as a variety of characters, including Austin, Dr. Evil and Fat Bastard. In the fourth movie in the series, Austin will be reunited with all his leading ladies from the previous three films: Liz Hurley, Heather Graham and Beyonce Knowles. There are once again expected to be a number of cameos from Hollywood stars.
This could be fun ;)

Well, he has some work ahead of him. Dr. Evil is no longer evil, Fat Bastard is neither so fat nor such a bastard anymore. Perhaps this new film will answer some questions, such as: whatever happened to the real Vanessa (if, indeed, there ever was a real Vanessa)? Whatever happened to Felicity, and why are she and Austin no longer together? Myers should tie up these loose ends.

It's getting a little tired methinks. The best thing about Goldmember (other than the title!) was the opening 10 mins! After that it was yawnsville....

I thought Goldmember was funny because of the opening sequence with the guest stars, and the Dr. Evil/Mini-Me music video. And Beyonce was hot. But Goldmember, the character, reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally bugged the crap out of me.

I liked the original the best :) Goldmember just rubbed me the wrong way, except for those two segments...and the part with the Japanese twins ;D

The first Austin Powers movie was surprisingly good, I got a great many laughs from it, but mostly from it's roasting of the James Bond type of flicks and pop culture. The "potty" humor angle doesn't do much for me and that made up to much of the other two for me.
