Subject: Any happy days this decade?
There's so much gloom when you think about this decade, even since 2000 itself.
But have you ever heard any good news, or good music/movies, or had memorable days in your lives that makes this decade more worthwhile to you?
I learned to play music on my keyboard, and even make my own on MIDI. That's a big one to me! ;D Back then, it was just garbage though, but I seem to be improving at it much more now.

Yes, definitely finding this board. But there is that little giving birth to triplets thing, after 5 years of trying. That kind of stands out for me. ;D

Well, the last two World Series really kicked butt ;D
The St. Louis-TN and St. Louis-NE Super Bowls were cool too :)
The Avs winning one for Bourque, the Wings winning #1 for a host of Future Hall of Famers, the Canes making hockey history in Carolina...that was good stuff.
And the USA in the World Cup...very impressive.
Gotta put a sporty twist on this thread ;D

Then I must add Team Canada winning Gold at Salt Lake City in both the men's and women's hockey! As well as David Pelletier and Jamie Sale in figure skating...who won the controversy as well ;D

I found a girlfriend. I graduated high school. I wrote a song. I got an A on a project. I went to college. I got a cool car. I read a good book.

For me this overall has been a pretty good decade, I got my car in 2000. I graduated from High School in 2001, and then came up here to college and met a lot of new cool people. Finished second in a bowling league last summer, though we should of won if it wasnt for those whinners who we were playing against for 1st place. I graduate from my college in alittle under 2 weeks, and then transfering to a larger college. So I had several good times so far this decade with several more to come.

ever since 2001 ended (worst year of my life), things just keep getting better. :D nothing earth-shattering, but i'm just generally happier than i used to be. and of course, i found this board. :)
