Oded Ferhr!  I am totally bonkers, head-over-heels in lust, er, like, no..I am totally stupid over Oded Fehr!!

He played Ardeth Bay in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns (that's the Egyptian guy with the face tattoos).

He was also the gigolo in Deuce Bigelow: Male Gigolo, and had two tv roles in UC:Undercover and Presidio Med.

I am also a bit stupid over the late, lamented, Kevin Tod Smith of New Zealand.  He is known best for playing Ares, God of War in Xena and Hercules.

I haven't been in love with a musician since I was a teen. Back then it was Limahl from Kajagoogoo, and Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran.

Comedians, in the style of Steve Martin, or John Cleese do it for me. Gotta have my humor. Humor makes a man 100 times sexier for me.

There is a certain vocal quality to a man that can really melt my butter as well. Luther V. and Johnny G. have it. Some Aussie guys have it like Russell C. I can't define it except to say that when they got it they got it.

Combine the two and I could be in real trouble. :o

I have no celeb heart throbs, but would like to broaden the topic.  So, what do you folks like to do for fun?  I do enjoy movies - old ones like Bogie, especially Casablanca, To Have and Have Not, and Key Largo - new ones like The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, the Mummy flicks - and medium ones like Romancing the Stone, the Indiana Jones series, Zorro (with C Zeta Jones - she's hot).  I like music from classical, especially baroque (aaah Bach), to regge to Latin American to sex drugs and ROCK 'N ROLL.  I like to cook and am sharing some recipies in the PPP.  I love to sail.  Can't wait to get my O'Day 25 back in the water, as soon as the ice is out (and there is nothing like making love on a gently rolling boat  ;) I love to read, mostly non-fiction but the Harry Potter books were fun.  My second oldest daughter is making me a grandfather  ??? but I'm TO YOUNG  ;D  And I really love my work, and the woman I live with.

Well.... good point, Don Carlos.

Other than gawping at celebrities, I love to read. I don't have anywhere as much time to read as I'd like to, seeing as I'm a single mom.  But when I do manage to squeeze in a couple of minutes, I read.  Almost anything will do but my favorite genres are SF/Fantasy, Historical Fiction, History/Sociology, Mythology, and Horror/Supernatural/Mystery.  I'm not much of a romance reader (cookie cutter stories.  Only the names and locations get changed) but I do like some forms of erotica.

I have a wide range of tastes in music, from 80's pop, to New Age/ New Classical, Goth, and all the different Ethnic/World Music stlyes.  I have an Internet Pen Pal from India, so I'm currently focusing on Indian/Hindi music.

I hate to cook, but when I can be coerced to do so, the result is usually very good.  I can be adventurous, and my best recipe (and best-loved) is "Leftover Suprise".  ;D

as for the celebrity that i never have a chance with (but only because of the age difference... ;) :D) but i am in love with is greg camp.  haha.  i actually find it amusing that i like him so much.  of course, i've also been watching "i love the 80s" a lot...to see mark mcgrath. :-prisoner of azkaban i've read at least ten).  i also enjoy hanging out with my friends and doing things like go to the mall or see a movie...or just sit around and talk.

i enjoy swimming and mini-golfing.  i also like to do archery on occation, although i don't really trust myself with the arrows.  (and neither should any of you! :o)  i like to watch baseball on tv, my favorite team is the yankees, and my favorite players are alfonso soriano and jorge posada.  i guess cal ripkin would count too, but he retired.

i enjoy working on my site and learning foreign languages.  (okay, those are two totally different things.)  i'm currently taking german, but i'm considering picking up spanish somewhere down the line.

dispite my many interests, i'm really not that interesting. ;D

Sorry Don, I missed this one...

Peter O'Toole is simply amazing to watch as is Morgan Freeman.  They command a scene and their delivery of lines are such that I ponder over them long after the movie is over.

As you probably noticed I'm a fan of the historical epic.  Comes from my lifelong interest and fascination with European history, especially ancient Rome.  As such, I try to focus on the acting and settings and not the historical accuracy of the story and props.  Gladiator, as moving a story as it is, IMO, left me absolutely cringing when I scrutinized such things as the Roman soldiers' armour and equipment and the portrayed battle near the beginning of the movie not to mention...um, er...I'm rambling again...too much coffee. :P

As for my list of artists/songs...we're both showing our age. ;)
