Yay!  I am so stoked!  I just got through ordering tickets online for the WHFStival which is a huge concert held here in D.C. sponsered by a local radio station.  (MissInfo I am sure you are familiar)  ;)

Anyhoo, here's the line-up:

Audioslave - yay!
Godsmack - rock on!
Blur - woo hoo!
Good Charlotte  :-X
AFI
The Donnas - yipee!
Chevelle
hed (PE)
Interpol
The Roots - one of the main reasons I am going
The Used
Hot Hot Heat
Vendetta Red
Switchfoot
Smile Empty Soul
Jack Johnson
....and others!

I am usually not to keen on huge shows like this, but I thought what the heck, friggin BLUR & The Roots will be there dude!  How could I pass this up!  :D

With the exception of Good Charlotte, that looks like an AWESOME concert! I haven't heard of Vendetta Red or Smile Empty Soul though...Audioslave, Blur, AFI, The Donnas, Chevelle, Interpol, The Roots, Hot Hot Heat....those are some awesome bands!

Sounds like a good show this year.  I went to one in the 90s that had Counting Crows, James, Cracker, Meatpuppets, and of course, the reason I went: the Violent Femmes!  There were some more bands, but I can't remember who they were now.

Alas, my concert plans are not as exciting this year.  I'm going to see Everclear and Presidents of the United States of America at the Fairfax County Fair in June and in August I'm going to see Jethro Tull at Wolf Trap.
