Just heard that Tommy Chong (Cheech and Chong, That 70s Show) was arrested and charged with selling drug paraphanalia for selling what the "authorities" called "marijuana smoking devices" (bongs). 3000 of the units were sold under the name "Chong Glassware". He faces up to 3 years in jail and something like a $5000.00 fine. ::)

Harsh!
I bet he needs a smoke about now  ;D

In the UK, bongs aren't illegal, only possession of actual drugs.

Not illegal in California either I don't think. At least they didn't used to be. Not that I would know.  :-X Where was he arrested?

I'm not sure where he was arrested but they said he plead not guilty in a federal district court in Pittsburgh. And I heard wrong, the fine could be as much as $250,000.00. :o

What a load of crap.  This was done to crack down on internet sales..?  They sell water pipes in freakin' convenience stores around here.

In Missouri, all you have to do is post this:

"for legal blend and tobacco use only".

Like, hey man.  Around here, the stuff grows wild - tobacco that is, I wouldn't know about anything else  ;)  But there is a strange looking plant in the biblical garden at a local church. :-X
