Subject: Nick-at-Nite

Written By: lebeiw15 on 07/06/03 at 10:09 p.m.

Nick-at-Nite used to play shows from the 50s and 60s that are now on TVLand.  Then they started showing 70s stuff but most of the shows they show now are 80s and even early 90s.

What shows do you predict will be on this channel in a couple of years?  Do you think shows like Family Matters and Full House will be on?  I mean, they're already showing Coach, aren't they?

It will be weird to see shows I actually grew up watching on this channel in a few years.

Also, do you think the shows they are currently showing are too "new" to be on this channel?  A station that used to show Green Acres and the Brady Bunch ten years ago is  now showing The Cosby Show and Cheers.

At least make them bring back SCTV and SNL reruns!

I think it should go back to what it was. The Great Line up of Petty Coat Junction, Mr. Ed, Car 54, My Three Sons, Make Room for Danny, and They never should have got rid of Mad Movies.

while it is nice to see some of the good 70's and 80's shows, I would hate to turn It on and see the lackluster TGIF shows.  If friends, sienfeld, or worse Will and Grace ever grace the air waves of TVland, I will be deeply upset.

I used to watch Nick-At-Night but have moved over to TVLand now to see the old shows I grew up with.  The other night I was watching "Three's Company" and remembering how, when it was a current show, I would watch it religiously.  ;D

Dick van Dyke
Mary Tyler moore
Bob Newhart show
Barney Miller
Bewitched
I dream of Jennie
All in the family

there are more but Im too lazy to think of them

I hate the Brady bunch and Partridge family and all those stupid shows...I hope no show that was ever on TGIF will ever be on N@N/TVLAND .......Seinfeld will though....Im sure itll be there in like 5 years

that channel has made me so sick of "the cosby show" because they never stop showing it...i remember being five years old and watching "i dream of jeanie" and "gilligan's island" at night.  but i have to admit, i wish they'd show "coach" at some other time besides three in the morning... :(

They used to also show Diff'rent Strokes and The Wonder Years--I would watch those reruns all the time and now if they show them it's very early in the morning--too late for me to stay up, and too early for me to get up.

And yes, even though The Cosby Show is a good show I don't know what is so great about it that they have to show marathons of it every other freakin' week and play it four + times a night.
