Subject: Songs Stuck In Your Head

Though it's been done numerous times before, I'm too lazy to go look for this topic so I'm just starting a new one.  What are the songs stuck in your head today?

Today I'm unfortunate--In the morning time it was Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer", and it's been "Kyrie" by Mr. Mister all freaking afternoon--especially the one line from the chorus.  Gotta turn off that radio and put in some CDs. 8)

Luckily i'm not really plagued with this at the moment since i haven't really been watching any MTV or listening to Radio One but me and mate went through a phase of not being able to get that annoying 'Skater Boy' (be if i'm going to spell it that way  :P ) song. So i'd wind him up if we were on the phone or whatever, by humming the first bit of the vocal - all i'd hear from him then would be some expletives....

I think that might be why there are a fair few parodies of it floating around - hell, i had to change the words cos i was sick of hearing it in my head - and also this whole weird 'Anti-Avril' cult we seem to have on here :P

If I hear a song, usually about 2 days later it will pop back into my head. Sometimes I will hear songs that I haven't heard for a long time and I asked myself, WHY? But the one tune, if I hear it that will just get stuck in my head which seems like forever is Beethoven's 9th (Ode to Joy). Don't ask me why because I couldn't tell you.

That's interesting. I can't even hear classical music in my head when i'm listening to it.  ::)

Black-Eyed Peas? Are they the ones that do rap over semi-decent funk-ish music?

Beyonce - Crazy in love, cos you can't escape from it at the moment!  It is a great tune, though.

I got that Vanessa Carlton overplayed-as-hell song stuck in my head...something about a thousand miles :P

I'm trying to beat it out of my head with a steady round of "Kung Fu Fighting" 8)

Tell a lie, i remember for about a month whenever someone would mention the temperature being too extreme i'd get 'it`s getting hot in here...' going 'round in my head - which was annoying cos i only know 2 lines of it.

You would've hated my roommate :P  He was from St. Louis and he'd play the same Nelly CD over and over and over and over and over...ad nauseum.  I've never wanted to shoot a stereo so badly in my life.
