What is with these shirts of Che?

Most folks don't even know who this guy was on the shirt.  He was a communist revolutionary.  Not one of my heroes to be honest.

Is it just a harmless shirt?  Or do you approve of these clothes?

Yup. I approve. Not only that but i've got a T-shirt like that myself. Despite the fact my views on Che are erm....iconoclastic (  ::) thank you 'Simpsons') but at the end of the day, his face makes a pretty cool logo.

It's kind of funny. Capitalism is the only ideology that tries to make money off the back of symbols that belong to a completely opposing view :-/ These are made by Capitalist companys for profit basically. You see capitalist rock bands with CCCP and even Che T-shirts all the time. :)

Silly shirt. Cool guy (Che, that is)

I thought this thread was about Che's sexy barret. Now that's a fashion statement!

Kewl Warhol-ish camp shirt.  Where can I buy one?

Talk about wearing yer politics on yer sleeve.  The idea has become the institution...

Personally, I don't like the Andy Warhol thing going on there (never liked Andy Warhol). As for wearing a shirt with Che's pic on it-Sure I would-but as a political statement, not a fashion statement. And like what was already mentioned, people have no idea who he was or what he did. I'm sure I will get a lot of questions-"Who is that?" I could say that he was a "rock star" if I didn't want to get into a political debate.  ;)

I wear a "Che beret" with my academic gown for graduation etc.  instead of the morter board.  I use to have an IWW pin on it as well. ;D
