Subject: Basic Instinct-Fatal Attraction-Indecent Proposal

Written By: zippo on 07/17/03 at 02:17 p.m.

I'd like to see a sequel to this great thriller, Basic Instinct, that is!

What a great film noir!

For the 90's that is.

The sequel fell apart.  I like Sharon Stone.  Hope she gets her career back in order, dig?

I call this film apart of the evil three:

Basic Instinct
Fatal Attraction
Indecent Proposal

These films caused tons of controversy.

About relationships and what not.  I liked them all.

The new ending for Fatal Attraction worked a lot better than the original ending.  I saw it on DVD recently.  It was pretty weak.

They caused controversy?  I must have missed that. :-/

Basic Instinct caused the most controversy for it's overheated sex scenes. Also famous for Stone's crossing legs scene in the interrogation room.

Indecent Proposal wasn't that interesting to me. The premise was stretched and the outcome was too much of a cop out.

Yeah, and I'd have loved to see Sharon Stone's character die a horrible death at the end of Basic Instinct, but that's just me. ;)

Yeah,

The Indecent Proposal ending didn't work.

Demi Moore shoulda left Redford's character and her husband.

And gone to live with Ellen Degeneres in L.A.

I loved Basic Instinct and would be very interested in a sequel, if only to see if Sharon Stone's character, Catherine Tramell did the expected thing and murdered Michael Douglas's dumb cop, Nick!
I enjoyed Indecent Proposal, as I'm a big Demi fan, however I'd have preferred her to stay with Robert Redford at the end!
It's not that I'm shallow, but at least he had charm, unlike Woody Harrelson who is dull and characterless as her husband!
Fatal Attraction isn't really for me - it was just too creepy and disturbing.  I could never look at Glenn Close in the same way again, even more so now that I've seen her as Cruella De ville!
