Hey, Gosh I know this sounds retarded, but there's this movie about two people who are researching this topic.. like a family or a mystery or something, and I remember that the girl in the movie always wore her hair up until the end of the movie.. but eventually the two people drove to this house and found all this stuff hidden inside an old cradle.. does anyone know what the hell I'm talking about? Let me know please :-*

Sounds like the movie Possession that came out just last year and had Gwyneth Paltrow in it. Not too sure, but it's just a hunch....
