Subject: For Bush lovers (and haters)

Written By: Don_Carlos on 07/25/03 at 01:17 p.m.

Cat found this site, and I thought people would find it interesting (or horrible).  It would be funny if it all wasn't so true, and so tragic.

http://www.bushbacklash.com/

I think its 2 pages, with additional links.

To our non-U.S. friends:

There is a suggestion, I think on page 1, that you all boycott U.S. products, and tell the storekeepers why.  A great idea.  Do it, spread it around.  Start a MOVEMENT.  Help us take back the U.S. from these neocons.

There are links to other sites. One has an article about how to rig an election. Another had a bunch of correspondence between Dubya and Ken Lay. Very interesting.

The site is intriguing to say the least.

A friend and myself are worried about the extreme slant of Bush's policies. I have also heard from my friend that he has the lowest I.Q of any president ever, the second lowest was his father George Bush Snr. Is this true?

I am afraid I won't say much more because I don't know (and am ignorant) of the full facts.

No, it is not.

And with that said, I am staying far, far away from this thread.

At least of the last 50 years but I am sure that it goes for ALL the presidents.

Thanks Catwoman for the site.

Well according to this, both Bush's fall below the 100 I.Q mark (is that the average)?

Now I don't know what to believe.

This is an urban myth. :)

According to the list here, Clinton's IQ was 182. That would make him one of the greatest geniuses of all time.

Yes, I fell into it. So sorry. But, I did find another site where the figures look a little more "normal." But it doesn't have George Sr. on it.

It is at the bottom of the page.

I have several problems with this whole notion.  First off, I can't believe that little Georgie has the same IQ as JFK.  But then, that leads me to the other problem.  The IQ test is not a very valid measure of anything.  It is extremely culturally biased.  Thats why black people in the U.S., Catholics in Northern Ireland, Koreans in Japan etc, score lower than the dominant group in each place.

On the other hand, little Georgie's impromtu addresses, his lack of grasp of reality, and is subserviance to Chaney, Rove, Wolfowitz, etc. suggest that he is not playing with a full deck, or put another way, that his head lights are a bit dim, or he is not the brightest crayon in the box.

IQ tests mean very little. I did four of them online over the course of a week and got different scores from each one, so they don't really measure anything. Nonetheless, we don't need IQ scores to know that GWB isn't very much more than average in the intelligence area, and not much of a president.

You already know Bush did badly in college. If it is ture he had a high IQ, then that would tell me he was very lazy. I guess they had to give him a seat at Yale, and not someone who deserved to go.

Let me also add that Bush is no JFK.

While I am no great admirer of JFK (many of his policies were horrid in my view), I must admit that the man was very bright.  Little Georgie, on the other hand, is a duffus.
