I just watched it. Excellent! :D I really enjoyed it.
Stand out points:
Johnny Depp plays his role brilliantly.
Orlando Bloom's ("Legolas" from "Lord of the Rings") star is continually rising.
Keira Knightley is absolutely gorgeous in this film.
So far, it is the best film I have seen all summer.

Great flick, Johnny Depp is truly amazing in the role. I only go to the theater about once a year because I am so often dissabpointed. This was a fun flick and well worth going to see.

I have heard a lot of mixed reviews from people who have seen it.
2 friends of mine said it was one of the worst movies ever, and you guys say its great. :D

Your friends are wrong. Dead wrong. I'm sure it has flaws, but I can not imagine why anyone would not like this movie.

I saw it and I'm still saying lines from the movie. I think Johnny Depp was amazing! Orlando wasn't anything special. He was just the guy who got the girl. He was a pretty cool guy, though. Good swordsmanship. He did a decent job with his part, but he's definately overshadowed by Cap'n Jack Sparrow.
I actually like the girl's performance as well.

as per request, my review of this move is: (drumroll please...) EXCELLENT!
I just saw it today and it was one of the most entertaining movies I have ever watched.
Great acting and great action= Great movie.

Well I finally went to see it yesterday and loved it ! I read that Johnny Depp based his character on Keith Richards and boy is it obvious but in a very funny way!

I went to see it the day after it came out. It was that good. Johnny Depp was undoubtebly the best in that movie.

I just went to see it last week. I had my doubts about the movie so I waited until it played in the bargain theater's. ($2.50 a ticket) And only because there wasn't anything else that I was even remotely interested in. I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought the movie was great and I agree with everyone http://smilies.crowd9.com/contrib/dday/yes.gif Johnny Depp made the movie.

I saw it last week with my boys...Great movie! The only thing I didn't like was the LONG sword fight near the end....Depp had that aloof "Jim Morrison" style thing going!
